Qualifications

Our therapists are educated and qualified professionals. Each has had a minimum of 500 hours of training and has passed the national certification exam through the NCBTMB.  Our therapists are state licensed in Rhode Island and possess full malpractice/liability insurance. In order to maintain certification, licensure, and to best provide current and beneficial techniques, we also regularly participate in continuing education.

Jenn Thomas

Jennifer Thomas, LCMT ~ 1998 graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelors degree in Social Work and 2001 graduate of the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. She has been in private practice since opening A Touch of Tranquility in 2004. She is Certified in Pregnancy Massage (Mother Massage - Elaine Stillerman) and Myofacial Release. She specializes in Deep Tissue and Swedish Relaxation techniques as well as offering Hot Stone therapy and ear coning/candling. Jenn is Nationally Certified by the NCBTMB and is a Professional Member of the AMTA.
